Academic Integrity Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This Academic Integrity Policy is the binding statement of how Plagaiscans Technologies Ltd (trading as Thesis Elite) operates within the ethical norms of higher education and scholarly publishing. It complements our public Academic Integrity Statement, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Refusal of Service Policy.

1. Our position

Thesis Elite exists to improve and advise on the customer's own work. Authorship belongs to the scholar. Editing, proofreading, formatting, and advisory services do not transfer authorship; they help authors communicate their existing ideas, data, and arguments more clearly.

2. What we will do

  • Edit and proofread documents that you have authored.
  • Improve language, clarity, structure, and consistency of your draft.
  • Format your manuscript to a target publisher's author guidelines.
  • Advise on journal selection, submission workflow, and response to peer reviewers.
  • Provide methodology, statistical-approach, and editorial advice that you remain free to accept, modify, or reject.
  • Provide editorial improvement of patent specifications you or your patent attorney have drafted.

3. What we will not do

  • We will not write academic work for you to submit as your own.
  • We will not complete coursework, assignments, examinations, or assessments.
  • We will not falsify or fabricate data, citations, or references.
  • We will not submit work to journals or institutions on your behalf using your credentials.
  • We will not provide services intended to evade plagiarism detection or AI-content detection.
  • We will not work on any project that, in our reasonable judgement, would breach the academic-integrity policy of your institution or target publisher.

4. Disclosure to institutions

Many universities and journals permit professional editing assistance provided that appropriate disclosure is made. It remains your responsibility to check your institution's or publisher's policy and to disclose the use of editorial services where required. We will provide, on request, a description of the editorial scope of our engagement that you can include in any such disclosure.

5. Right to refuse and terminate

We reserve the right to refuse to commence work, or to terminate work in progress, where we identify a breach of academic integrity standards. Where work is terminated for cause, no refund is payable for work already performed.

6. Reporting concerns

If you believe a Thesis Elite engagement is being misused, please contact support@thesiselite.com. Reports are handled confidentially.
