Although we are below the statutory turnover threshold for mandatory reporting, we choose to publish this statement voluntarily to demonstrate our commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain.
1. Our business
Plagaiscans Technologies Ltd is a private limited company registered in England & Wales (Companies House number 16998013). We provide editorial, advisory, and language-improvement services to scholars, researchers, students, and academic institutions worldwide.
2. Our supply chain
Our supply chain consists primarily of:
- freelance editors and consultants engaged on individual professional contracts;
- technology suppliers (hosting, payment processing, email, database providers);
- professional services suppliers (accounting, legal, marketing).
3. Our commitments
- We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking in our business or supply chain.
- All editors and consultants are engaged on transparent, written agreements at fair, market-rate compensation, with the freedom to accept or decline assignments.
- We expect our suppliers to operate in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent legislation in their jurisdiction.
4. Due diligence
We assess each new supplier and contractor for modern-slavery risk before onboarding, prioritising suppliers with published anti-slavery policies and ethical-sourcing commitments.
5. Training and awareness
Personnel involved in supplier engagement receive briefings on modern-slavery risk indicators and on the steps to take if concerns are identified.
6. Reporting concerns

7. Approval
