  • Account data: username, password (hashed), preferences.
  • Order data: documents you upload, service selected, brief, deadline, communications with editors.
  • Payment data: billing address and the last four digits of the card used. Full card details are processed directly by Stripe and Airwallex and never reach our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, device, browser, language, pages viewed, referring URL.
  • Marketing data: your consent preferences for marketing emails.

3. Lawful bases for processing

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the services you have ordered.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our services and to prevent fraud.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, and other laws.

4. How we use your data

  • To deliver editorial, advisory, and language-improvement services.

Order documents are deleted 90 days after delivery unless you request earlier deletion or extended retention. Invoice and tax records are retained for seven years to comply with HMRC requirements.
